Gary Lux photo

Record Producer and studio mixer Gary Lux. Have you ever listened to the soundtracks to such movies as “The Blues Brothers”, “Charlies Angels”, Moulin Rouge” or Steven Segal’s “Marked For Death”? How about such artists as the Foo Fighters, No Doubt, Aaron Neville, Brittany Spears, Usher, or Sting?

Meet Gary Lux. He’s worked with them all, along with Frank Sinatra, and Englebert Humperdink. Gary shares his stories of how he got into the recording business, starting out at Evergreen Studios in Burbank California, and within a few short years, was mixing soundtracks at Universal Studios.

Gary shares his wisdom on how to get your foot into the recording studio, along with how an artist or a band should prepare their songs… especially if you’re going to pitch it to a manager, or a record label.
